Contract No. begins with "s" - is that what goes on the tank.

My W/NG contract number begins with an "S" not a "C" (it's S5514)
What goes on the tank ?

Hi John...The number on the tank is not the contract number...'C' is the Army code letter for a motorcycle. The number itself relates to the frame number of your bike and at what point during the contract it was manufactured.
The 'C' numbers commenced (from an allocated block) with the first bike of the contract and each bike had its own number. If you post your frame number on here someone will give you the 'C' number for your bike from the records...Ian

Hey John,
S5514 Has the frame number range XG44251 to 47250, C5363021 to C5366020. You just need to work out how far in your frame number is and you should have the right C number (within a few, its never an exact science).
