Nope! Even the pre war BSA's had a plug for the speedo drive in the brake plate. I'm guessing it's from a bike with a speedo drive from the gearbox or rear wheel......or none at all?? Ron

It is a Royal Enfield one, dating from the 30's Hitchcocks have a brake plate listed that looks the same.
