Hi all

Can someone tell me what goes under the brass handles on these caps, fibre washers or metal washers

Mine have nothing - cant be right or good

Mine were metal washers and took a little tinkering to get the handle to sit square when slack and tight, once the fit is right you can rest at ease that the paint on the cap is safe, just make sure the nut is locked off with a split pin.

Too late to save paint on mine, but I want to repaint them before summer riding etc
