Workshop target

Hello, there's BSA owner and took off maney years ago this target and want to put it on his bike again. I have told him that the target goes on the valve cover.
Is that so!

Maybe someone can tell me also where this workshop was with the number B199?

Re: Workshop target

the flatter plates that are 4.5"x3.5" 9cm x 11cm usualy go inside or out side of tool box can email you a picture of one in a tool box if you want

Re: Workshop target

Please send me a picture, because the inside toolbox plate normaly does have two cuts off from the corners as I have seen on some pictures.
So I thouhgt it isn't the toolbox.

Re: Workshop target

Have seen these plates on the rear mudguard of M20's usually.

Re: Workshop target

I've never seen one on an M20 tappet cover, they might be a bit too big. Here's one on the tool box of a WD C10. Ron

Re: Workshop target

Thanks, Ron.

Your photo is nice and clear.
Some send me a photo of the rear mudguard, also there they where put on.

Do you also have an idea where the workshop was, looking at the number B199

An other question: this target was used also on other bikes like the m20 or m21, but also on Triumph, Matchless, ect?
