yesterday sunny and mild so i took one of my bike out for a run wearing all the right gear only rode for about an hour got home sat down had a cup of tea went to get up couldnt my bones were stiff as anything it took a full hour to loosen up again but still got aches in my knees i am not as young as i thought i was hope we have a warm summer
Roger. I use hard plastic / foam knee protectors that I bought quiet cheaply from a dirt bike shop. The hard plastic keeps all wind off my knees while the foam keeps them warm

I work in an unheated workshop and I've found a Zippo handwarmer helps me get through the day, they are available on ebay for £12-£17, without the cover on they are very hot, nearly too hot to touch and with the cover on them they are just right, they use lighter fuel (petrol)and burn for a genuine 12 hours- highly recommended!
