BSA M20 engine with the above on item condition.
I suppose it could be true to a point, as the seller does not say in what year it came out of a working bike - around the time of the ark I would guess!

I don't know about the ark, Clive. Isn't that supposed to be high and dry on top of a mountain ? This engine looks like it went down with the 'Thistlegorm'
'Came out of a working bike'?... ....I imagine the only thing that engine's been 'working' at is propping the garage door open....Ian
