I am looking at the tag on the back of a Dispatch riders trousers, The tag states for the waist 83ins to 34ins.
Does it fit between a 83 inch waist to a 34 inch waist?

The size is very misleading on despatch rider trousers. That size 33-34 waist is actually about right for Audie Murphy with a big butt. You really need to have thin and short legs because they aren't sized the same as battledress trousers.

The Bride does have me on a diet now, but a 34 in waist was my old Marine corps size, and the only thing in the sea bag now that fits is the scarf....sad.

Everybody thinks they are the same size as they where at eighteen.Never mind your waist they wont fit your calves .

There were 18 sizes, three different width per length.
Never really bothered to collect the info, but from the two DR pantaloons that still fit, the following is printed on the label:

S. D. Pantaloons motor cyclists
size height waist breech leg
15 5' 11" - 6' 0" 37" - 38" 43" - 44" 28"
18 6' 1" - 6' 2" 38" - 39" 44" - 45" 29"

frank wont the seabag fit either just cut some holes in the bottom and at least you have got some swimming trunks
