Re: Mid America Auctions

Just over £2000, presumably plus an auctioneer's charge ?

Distinctly sensible money for the buyer. I wish that WD bikes were still that sort of price in Europe. A UK dealer would put that up at £4500 - £5000.

Re: Mid America Auctions

This link is to the 2012 sale, not the "just completed" one, which would be January 2013.

Re: Mid America Auctions

Any clue when the sale prices for the 2013 will be posted? I'd really want to see the price on the Indian Velocette. I think the production run was under 100 before the enterpreneur passed away and production stopped.

Re: Mid America Auctions

I love 'em also Ian! But with left hand throttle and suicide clutch, it's a whole new ball game. I did ride one for a short distance at Brooklands two years ago.......But it had a sidecar attached which was a bonus for a newbie. Ron
