Hi Ian,

Unusual indeed! Do you have any more info on this - who owns it, how you came by it etc?
I'd like to use it in my local Triumph Owner's Club newsletter if I may.

Always looking for Triumph snippets to fill the pages......

Cheers,

Bruce

That would fit my collection nicely, even with Triumph on it.

No better come to me! The postage would be cheaper and I only have a 1938 re-print of the same parts book Ron

What does "T446" mean?

Re: Now here's something you don't see everyday...

The book belongs to a friend of mine. He owned an ex AA pre war Triumph Speed Twin and this came with the bike I believe...I'll try to get some more detailed info. The book itself isn't damaged in any particular way that I can see. I guess it was just the case that after being recovered from a bombed factory site they didn't regard it as 'new' and 'pristine'...Perhaps other examples in the pile of books being stamped were more damaged!
I would guess this is extremely rare..perhaps the only one?..Not sure about the T446...Triumph frame numbers of the period began with 'T' but I thought there was another letter and 4 digits not 3...though I'm no expert on the subject...Ian
