I have this Triumph 3HW frame dated Sept 1942. Is this number Greek or Arabic?
I have heard of Greek stamped frames before.

An egyptian friend of mine told me that the symbols on the right hand side of the frame are numbers: "38215"!!

Thanks Kostas, much appreciated. I can clearly see it here. I wonder if these frames were supplied as spares out there? I can't see any signs of an original number being sanded off.

I wondered if you have found more info about "this" number !!!
I found no similar signs on the headstock of my bike...
My 3HW has also the T.E.C.9.42 behiend the seat-pivot. Have you more info about this number ? I have been told it is a batch number, prior to have the bikes send to the army...
The frame number of my bike = TL32281 (engine 42281 & C 13948 [what this last number may be... can any one help ? ] )
