hi all, would the ignition timing on a 1941 g3l set up be the same as an m20 and the mag in fully advanced with the cable pulled?? would 3/8 before tdc be correct?

Barry you should be able to download a manual from the internet quite easily, or get one from Rob Van Meel (google).
The ing timing for a G3L is 7/16" BTDC at full advance.
The correct carb is a 275 (7/8"). If you're using a 276, best go with G3 settings.
