I went out with a few mates on Sunday for some riding in the New Forest. Just about 100 miles covered in one of my most favourite places to be. This is Calshot Spit near the oil refinery at Fawley. Isle of Wight over the water.
I discovered whilst riding home via the Christchurch bypass that my bike develops a serious speed wobble at anything over 58mph. So some scrutinising is imminent... After the Popham 'Mega Meet' on Aug 19th. Ron
Colin asked me to post this photo of the West Somerset Railway steam rally taken I would guess a short while after I had extracted my M20 from the mud on the same Sunday morning.

I was out on my bike Sunday and took it up to 60 mph (50/55 being my usuale cruising speed). On smooth tarmac it was ok, but any bumps or irregularitys of the surface and the forks went crazy- shaking up and down enough to blur my vision.
The opinion at the British bike pub meet was " thats normal for girder forks"
