I have what I understand as a 'desert side stand' that is the long stand pivoting from under the seat. I also have a threaded point on the frame just a little lower which I thought was for an ordinary side stand. Am I wrong with this belief? If not would the short side stand be more appropriate for my bike and if so has anyone got one for sale

the field stand was originaly short but they had to lengthen it when they fitted pannier carriers and didnt delete the lug in production
