Out of interest, what other model BSA's were used after 1945 by the MOD and other forces before the BSA B40 in the late 60's?

they were still using M20 in 1972 when i left the army the only B40 i saw was at the motorcycle training section army school of transport and that wasnt used regularly if i wanted to use a bike they would only let me use a M20 maybe a TRW if they felt in a good mood but never a B40

There is a fin from a 2" mortar resting on the forks of that pre-war Norton.

I hope that the post-war plunger job doesn't try to get on '200 for 70' or Ian will have to set Ron on him.
