I am missing the front mudguard spacer.Can any one give me the spacer measurements please?

I am also having difficulty assembling my front hub and suspect that i may have a spacer or two missing. The diagram in the parts lists seems to be for a non speedo drive hub. Can any one help with a diagram of the front hub with speedo drive plaese ?

My bike is 1945. Which type of speedo drive would it have had. front wheel or gearbox?

1945 would have a front wheel speedo drive.

Sorry can't help with the mudguard spacer but try the search function I'm sure it's been discussed before.

The spacer only fits if you have the longer, later war front fork. If you try to fit the spacer when a short fork is fitted you will have problems to assemble all mudguard stays. There just isn't enough room for the spacer then. Don't ask me how I know.

Phil, just sent you a couple of photos.

The spacer is a hex section 17/32" across the flats, the hex section is 1/2" long with 7/16" threaded at each end. The thread is 5/16" BSCY.
