BSA B and A model gear levers

I notice there are a few different gear levers for B models and A models what year were the changes and what changed.
I have a plunger 1949 B31 which has a short lever and my 1950 B33 plunger has a longer one. I also have a 1948 rigid in bits with the 46-48 gearbox what lever is it suppose to have short or long does anyone know or have somes pics.

I had a look on Draganflys website and it gives different levers for B models 46-48 and B and M models 49-62 but doesn't show pics so I dont know if its short or long for which model.
Also there seems to be the same idea for A7s and A10 I have rigid 1947 A7 and plunger A10 and some longer levers are a bit different.
Anyone know the differences and which year etc.
cheers Terry

Re: BSA B and A model gear levers

Hi Terry..I'm unsure about 46-48 B models...Plunger and swinging arm singles used the slightly longer styled lever than the plunger and rigid twins. On these, as the gearbox is bolted directly to the rear of the crankcase, the lever is shorter and cranked out to clear the back of the timing cover...Ian
