I have just picked up some leather straps described on the stores label as above. Can anyone tell me their application please.
They are in the tan leather favoured by the WD stamped MC.7874 and are 1" wide x 10" long. They are riveted with a retainer for the strap end,a black enamelled buckle and a leather rectangle which the strap passes through. This rectangle is I presume to spread the load on a secured item.

They are much shorter than the strap in the M20 tool kit.

Any ideas ?
