Something does not add up

While lacing the rear wheel of the WDM20, I used the offsets as mentioned in the “Green Book”, p. 32, (c) :
”... When re-truing wheels the distances between a straight-edge and rim of the wheel should be: rear wheel (straight edge across hollow on brake drum side 5/8" (16mm) reverse side 1 1/4" (32mm)...”
Now, width of the rim 76mm , offsets 16 +32mm, total 124mm, but the hub is only 102 mm!
Where am I wrong

Hi Hans..I take a measurement with the brake drum removed, off the face it sits against..3/8" to the edge of the rim...Ian
