Bike stand, great for vans etc

I saw these in action least weekend, they were being used in the vans for bike recovery at the racetrack, it made loading the bikes so much easier, they were great, the could be loaded single handedly.

A brilliant idea, ideal for anyone that carries bikes around in a van.

(PS. I have no link with the company, but was impressed with the product.)

Re: Bike stand, great for vans etc

Only problem I encounter when loading bikes on my own is getting them up the ramp & in the van safely.
Securing once in, is never an issue for me.
But I can see those being usefull for light modern race bikes where loading speed is a priority.

you can buy a small 12v electric winch that is used for loading sail boats works well

From my experience...it works better with my race bike due to the wider front tyre. BSA front tyre is to narrow, so you'll need to secure it.

Great piece of equipment though!
