I'm almost too embarassed to ask this question, but do I fit the glass into the rim, followed by the reflector, followed by the w-clips? It's a tight fit and I'd rather look silly than risk cracking the glass...

According to photos and diagram,
The W clip should come behind the glass,
However in my bike it came behind the reflector
and I kept it that way.

The headlight is back together and I've even ridden the old girl around the block in readiness for the MOT.

Just the tool box, sump plate and adjustments to go!
