Maybe it was fork lifted in a badly made crate with too much weight above it .... Its my best guess
With no fins it would be Ok for running on Methanol as well...Matchless grass tracker anyone? . I reckon the rider may have laid it down and it slid into the car 'frame first'..Ian
Thats an early one, first or second contract, The rear frame has the flat steel plate type of rear wheel lug, soon changed to the cast type as it was weak. Also short rear guard, no pannier fame lugs on the carrier and metal tank badges.
