I'm assuming there was a 'correct' route the factory fitted the wiring to the rear lamp on M20's. Would it have been over, under or along the edge of the rear mudguard? I have more bolt holes than a little on my mudguard and I'm not sure which are correct 'period'. It is possible some of them were for some kind of wiring clips but maybe all of them are later additions and there were no specific ones - the wire clips (if any?) being held by the mudguard stay bolts. Anyone know for certain? '44 model if it makes a difference. Thanks for any useful input.
I have photos that show two different clips. Small clips that secure the wire to the edge of the mudguard and bigger slips for the lower mudguard stay. You can just see them in these photos.
