I am new to the forum; I have been reading present and past posts for several weeks now since my purchase of a BSA M20 (Frame # 98615) to restore. I am not a professional, but have restored a 741B Indian and 42 WLA back to their military trim quite nicely. I wanted to add the allied contingent; however, I feel that I will need a bit of restoration guidance and help locating key items. The motorcycle is fairly complete, but missing a few things (stone shield, MTC1 taillamp, panniers, Vokes filter, passenger seat, etc.). Mr. Pier has been most helpful via my initial email inquiries in ferreting out specifics of the contract (S2603), approximate date of production, and tank number (C5209315). There is a wealth of forum knowledge; in advance, I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.
