is that some foam type cover over the vokes to filter the sand during a sand storm???

Horrible photo of the Ariel, was it repaired, was the rider OK?

Hi Bill..Amazingly the rider got away with some bumps and bruises...The bike was back on the road a couple of months later as equally amazingly, he quickly found a replacement set of forks.....Ian
