I have a friend looking for a Norton 16H back wheel. He needs the basic wheel but doesn't need the sprocket etc. as he already has that. So I guess a hub with rim and spokes will do it...does anyone have a surplus one for sale?.(or even just a complete hub)..Ian

They're getting harder to find, Ian. Needless to say, they fit lots of civilian Nortons from 1936-on as well.

It is interchangeable with the fronts on everything apart from the International and trials models.

If your friend is going to Stafford then I'm sure he'll find at least a bare hub. Wear on the conical seating for the sleeve nuts is the thing to watch out for.

I think Lawrence Rose has one on his scrap wheel pile (not that it's a scrap wheel, he just has a big pile he keeps outside) I picked through them a while back and there was a pretty good one in there with an ally rim and flat profile sprint/drag racing tyre
