Re: Rear brake pedal stop

The NOS one I just got fromRussells was plain unfinished metal. Slightly rusty from years of sitting.

Hi Hans,

I just got one for my project bike, this was NOS and in the 1942 brown color.

Cheers,

Re: Rear brake pedal stop

If you want a original looking rusty bracket, I would go for a unpainted one

good luck

Re: Rear brake pedal stop

I doubt a man with powder coated spokes will want an unpainted brake stop.. ..Ian

Re: Rear brake pedal stop

Haha!!
But luckely it is in a greasy place.

cheers,

Re: Rear brake pedal stop

You could compromise by heating it red hot and drop it in a container with used engine oil in it, it gives a cheap DIY black finish (parkerised)and does offer some protection from rusting
