The mixing chamber body that you have, 276/424R is from the post-war A7 twin and has a 15/16" bore. The correct mixing chamber is the 276/014R with a 1" bore.
Bearing in mind that the A7's cylinders are individualy only half the volume of the M20's, I'd suspect that you'll find it's under-carbed...which is not to say that it wouldn't run, but...
Hi Jeroen..You don't have to go for the specific type (number). Any 1" choke 276 with the adjustments made on the right hand side of the body and a vertical float chamber will do it and can then have the correct slide/jets etc. fitted...Ian
