road tax exemption for 30 year old vehicles

I've signed it as well, why has he gone for 30 years when the original time was 25..? This is imprinted on my mind because I was nearly there with my Commando and my Trident, both registered in 73.... then Labour got in power and said it stops from now. Lukily both bikes were manufactured in 72, the Trident Dec 72 so just got in there, so I managed to get them as Historic vehicle. That was the best thing the Conservatives ever did for us.

is this going to be for vehicles that are 30 years old ie a rolling age and we should be careful that they dont bring useage restrictions ie can only be used to go to a shows on sunday and limited mileage
