Moving on to the handlebar controls on my M20 they are a bit wobbly! there is some wear on the pivot hole and i suppose I should think about getting some replicas. Obviously I dont want chrome, so can anyone point me towards a non chrome suitable/correct style control? If I do end up with Chrome has anyone had any success in painting over it? thx
someone on the forum said the holes could be rebushed by enlarging the worn hole just to round it off and using a made up brass bush to the correct size if this is not possible if you can find rusty levers these can be sanded down and will take paint quite well
Thats good news, I will contact these guys and see what they can do with mine. Thanks very much. Meanwhile, I reckongmos tof my Chrome will come off on the bench wire wheel. we will see.
