forum picture: is that a G-10 (often called NATO) military watch strap?

I happen to collect military watches and just had to ask. I've got a few WWII british issue watches. Perfect accoutrement for the wrist of an M20 rider!

hi kevin, just watched (sorry) a programme on the tele earlier,''flog it'' a lady had this enormous watch,prolly 2.1/2 inches in diameter,the expert told her it was a german bomber navigators watch ,vary rare,and worth £2000.00.
it sold at auction (not working) for £3000.00,she and the expert were gob-smacked,but you would need an m20 to tow it around. cheers rick
