Elastic braces?

On a continuing theme with my hunt for battledress, is there such a thing as elastic white braces to suit battledress trousers? I don't want to pack a needle and thread in my toolkit.......

Re: Elastic braces?

Every pair of original or repro ww2 braces that I've seen have been non-elastic, it's just that after reading a DR's memoirs and hearing how many times he lost buttons due to the inflexibility I thought I'd see if stretchy ones are available as I don't want to be looking for buttons on a pub floor.......
