Off topic? Matchless cylinder head.

I have an iron matchless cylinder head lying about that has to go. It is in reasonable condition and has both valves and valve springs on one side (ex. I think). I think it is about '53 but am unsure of its exact age.
It is free to a good home, either for the price of the carriage or I can deliver it to Stafford in April.
It will be in a skip by Monday.. so contact me at the earliest if you want it...Ian

Re: Off topic? Matchless cylinder head.

Will this fit an 1941 G3L?

If so, I'm interested. I have a pal in UK you can send to.

If it's from after '48, it will not fit anything wartime!!

Re: Off topic? Matchless cylinder head.

steel head with hairpin valve springs is 1949.
Anything with round valve springs should fit WD barrels with round copper/asbestos gasket.
If noboby wants it, I would not mind the head. Rob Miller may want to volunteer to bring it to Dieppe?
