m20 rear wheel spacer

hi all, should there a spacer on the right side of the rear wheel? i fitted the wheel and although i have not tighten up the nuts yet the gap seems a bit wide, is this normal, if theres a spacer how wide does it need to be? has some one maybe got a pic??

Hi Barry..There is a 'top hat' spacer fitted to the offside...I don't know the dimensions from memory, but it is around 5/8" wide. I can provide a more accurate description tomorrow if nobody gets there first...Ian

Here you go Barry - I had one uploaded to ImageShack. Bit tricky to measure accuratey in-situ but I would take a guess at 9/16" thick

Hi Barry,

I put the calipers to mine and here are
the dims (in inches):

Overlength: 0.58
Bore: 0.505
Major OD: 1.375 X 0.180 thick
Minor OD: 0.945 (matches the round on the adjoining nut)
