hi john,theres one thing i can think of near there,may be worth a look,a place called oak island or the money pit google it ,you'll be facinated
there once was a rather large explosion there during the first war google that also ''halifax explosion''
i think marconi had a radio station there about 1910 appart from that,i dont know much else about the place
