Re: malaysia

There's a cylinder head coming this way, we'll let you know when it arrives. Prices aren't going crazy, mostly due to the high shipping cost I think.
Probably one guy breaking up a bike for spares.
The e-Bay lister's Engrish isn't very good either might make for some confucing transrations.

Re: malaysia

it's bullshit guys... it must be indonesian people try to sold the parts, because nobody wants to buy anything from indonesian.importantly we indonesian people despise anybody that try to or already export our old bike.

FYI there's no old bike at malaysia,it all comes from indonesia through borneo... it's fucking ilegal...

Re: malaysia

There's a chap who drivers for us who did his national service out that way. One of his duties was to drive WW2 trucks to an airfield where they would be sold. He said that you had to buy three trucks at a time. One would be perfectly serviceable, one would be battered but working and the other was for spares. He said it was an amazing sight to see all the trucks lined up on the airfield.

The interesting thing was that the back of the vehicles were stuffed with crated spares, parts, uniform. These were included in the sale of the trucks but the contents were not itemised. He's in to his bikes and he remembers the hundreds of new frames, engines and the thousands of other bike spares that were effectively given away free with the old trucks just to get rid of them. I guess it was cheaper than shipping them back to the UK.

All these parts must have ended up somewhere, be it in a hole in the ground, a warehouse or consumed over the years.
