Pretty similar result. Originally a decapitated German was in the dirty BSA photo too, I hope Ian didn't loose his head doing this?

The guy that took the photo should have stepped back about 1 meter but he didn't.

The picture was taken by a tidal road that runs alongside the river estuary about 3 miles from my house...there is always plenty of deep, liquid mud, tree roots and lumps of rock..and it's best not to get stuck when the tide is on the way in!
Great fun and I get a compulsion to go there every so often for that 'in service' look ...Ian

hi,looks like there is a spare head on the rocks behind ians bike so what year are we looking at for this model?,hand change,crash bars, pannel tank,screw or bayonet type tank caps,and thats the first valanced front mudguard i think ive seen,is that a jerry reg number?cheers rick

The number is for the Luftwaffe (WL) prefix. The army was (WH) Wehrmacht Heer The Kriegsmarine was (WM) and the SS Was the SS runes
