Henk, if Tommy/graemeboy kept on finding a new IP address, why on earth did he want to come back to here if this forum is so "shite"? I really don't understand it, maybe he can now fuck up the facebook site with his attitude. I'd personally like to punch him on the nose if I ever saw him, I've never really rose to his bait, but I did find his attitude offensive and antagonistic.
If they are reading this and don't know me, I am a real biker, not a Sunday rider, I have a mohican and, tattoos and have a lot of friends in various 1% clubs, I ride a Harley as an everyday ride as I have done for the last 26 years, I've been a motorcycle mechanic for the last 26 years too, specialising in Harleys and British bikes. If Graemeyboy/Tommy think we are all pipe smoking silverbeards they are so mistaken, we have all kinds on here and like in real life we get on with all types, but if they ever came into my shop with that kind of attitude, they'd be leaving rather sharpish.
If by saying this it damages my customer base with friends of theirs (they obviously know that much they'd never need my help, I wouldn't give it anyway) I personally couldn't care less- good riddance to bad shit
Personally I think they are so obnoxious I don't even understand why the even tagged onto this forum

Mr. Wrong here..I wish them both well.. They'll probably be very happy together, with their own, very personal, ringpiece club,..running the new forum and helping to educate the rest of the world, in an understanding and enlightened way, about military bikes (old squibs). Good luck as well with being captains of their new business venture, making top quality, British made free replica parts and promoting everything..errr.. good.. about Scotland....
Personally I will miss their witty comments, informative tips and generally good humoured banter..

Now doesn't that sound like the perfect neighbour? I can't wait for my 8 year old daughter to reach the age where she might bring such a catch home as a prospective son in law.

I see that his wife is a veterinary surgeon, perhaps she could do something to quieten him down a bit. I know of a quick proceedure that certainly had a calming effect on my tom cat . In fact I think my own educational background might qualify me to do the job myself, a rubber band and a stanley knife should do it, anasthetic being superfluous for such a tough guy.

Im similar to Dave Plumb personally in that I strongly contradict the hackneyed idea of classic bike owners which many of the arrogant younger generation have (check out my 'visitor's' photo - that's really me , it's a recent picture and it's not a wig ) , and attitude wise I also srtongly concur with Ian Wright , who I still need to talk to re a headstock bearing upgrade ( did you get my email , Ian?) I say lastly that in my experience one thing which is proving indirectly positive about the internet is that it has an uncanny tendency to 'flush out' frauds , shysters , people with less than decent motives for communicating with the rest of humanity . They'll gravitate towards each other in accordance with the natural laws of attraction , and perhaps one of these days there'll be facebook - like websites run by and exclusively for disfunctional social outcasts . As long as they dont trash any classic vehicles on the way , I dont care what else they get up to .

I want to thank everyone on this site of Henks for their valuable information and discussion. I check new posts almost everyday and I enjoy reading all the comments and have done for years.
I never cease to learn from others even though I have been working on M20s and other british bikes for over 30 years.
I thank Ian who in my opinion is Mr Right because he is constantly answering questions on this site and from what I gather is a genuine person. I also thank Dave Plumb as well for your input and info its much appreciated.
So GO AWAY Tommy Tosser your bad attitude isn't in the friendly spirit of this brilliant website.

I rather think that hate-filled diatribes are no more acceptable to reasonable people now than they were then.

One of the civilised values that was being fought for was the rejection of mob rule, the idea that he who shouts loudest and most aggressively should have the final say.

I exercise my right of free speech often. On the other hand, I don't have the right to post anything I want on someone else's site. I am thankful for the opportunity but recognize it can be deleted at anytime. It's not my site, I don't have that license, I just have that opportunity. It's no different than a writer finding a publisher. If no one is willing to publish, it won't get published. No one is yelling that their speech is being limited. They can start their own publishing company.

Now, while I'll admit I joined the Facebook group, I'll quickly unsubscribe if they don't stop these daily e-mails with drivel for content.
I like Henk's site here because I can ask questions, join in discussions, find some parts, and learn more about the M20 and it's history. Most content and postings are helpful, the others I just ignore, I don't get offended.
Everybody is entitled to their opinion, but personal attacks, inflammatory comments and personal predjudices have no place here. If it isn't relevant to the M20, I can find that somewhere else. I speak for myself , but hope others share my opinion.

Out of curiosity I had a look at the facebook website, and really its just rubbish with no informative, interesting or amusing content so if you dont ever see it you will not be missing anything. This is definatly the place to be if you are in way serious about your WD bike.
I go on plenty of forums for clasic and modern bikes, and this site is the benchmark for how it should be done

Out of curiosity we had a look at the facebook website,and really its informative,young in content.
Looks like its giving the BSA Civi/WD bikes a wider audience also for a hope in some kind of BSA come back.
There is a big demand and a big push for the BSA marque to return.
So we support this.
Certainly many of us World Wide in waiting have the deposits ready for a re-development of some type of form for a BSA come back,even if its re-badge exercise to begin with.
Mr Bloor has been noted ideal!
Could be Triumph BSA once more?
