What thread are the bolts holding on the QD rear brake drum supposed to be? (66-6070) I recently bought a "made in England" replacement and the threads in the drum are not the same as those of the old drum, (my "originals" are 3/8 20 TPI -BSF)

So, does anyone know what these bolts should have for a thread? I'm not assuming that mine are correct.
But if they are I shall be having a word with the supplier of the drum.

Hi Peter, Original brake drum bolts are 7/16"x18 TPI (BSF). I'm surprised you have had a problem..I have had the UK made brake drums and haven't had any trouble. They are identifiable by being machined all over, finished in a chemical black and are marked 'Made in England'..is that what you have? and where did you buy it?...Ian
