Off topic - exhaust pipe repair

Hi folks

Off topic here but !!

I bought an original unrestored 1972 T100R at kempton last time round

I needed to fit new down pipes but after 2 sets of repro pipes failed to fit and allow correct alignment ( sound familiar) I have decided my best option is to have the pipes repaired. The metal is thin in places so I have considered having them brazed and covered in a pipe lag, semi custom

The repros are not an option really, if they manage to line up with the front brackets, they run the silencers out of line and foul the side stand

There's the background, so is there anyone who would be willing or know of someone willing who would repair them for me

I can bring to shepton if it helps

Help !!!

Find a custom pipebender. It's the only way.

They will usually fit even if they are bad copies, you should put a piece of steel bar up the downpipes when they are fitted and bolted up tightly and give them a good "tweak" they can usually be got to line up with a bit of brute force!
