Hi every one
I am thinking about bying an M20 and maybe I have found one.
The registration paper says 1944. Frame and engine number is 111311. Is it correct that the M20 is from 1944?
Should there be stamped WM20 111311 on the frame/engine?
Is there always letter(s) on M20 frame and engine numbers?
Are there other things that can tell the year? Are there other things that I should be aware of when bying an M20?
hi claus, try and post a picture or two,the guys in the know will tell you straight awayif if looks genuine, also the price to see how they think it compares with the current market.it is unusual to find a bike with matching frame and engine numbers as the army workshops replaced the engines with a ready overhauled unit.also they are normally stamped WM20------etc,although saying that one of mine is stamped-------
WM20 like this underneath cheers rick
