On this weekend is a nice little WW2 event at Castle Drogo on the north edge of Dartmoor.

I will be taking the BSA and there are usually several other WD bikes in attendance, so if any of you fancy a last show before winter why not come along.

And we are considering taking the bikes up nearby Fingle Bridge hill which has been used as a section in the MCC Exeter trial since 1932.

Fantastic weekend at Castle Drogo, with 2 M20s, 2 16Hs and a Harley in attendance. Part of the run out on the Saturday evening took us down Fingle Bridge hill.

And the highlight of the show was the air display supplied by a WW2 Hawker Hurricane.

The show will be on again next year on the weekend of the 29th-30th September.

Talking of air displays. We had ten spitfires in formation at Goodwood. I think this is the most since the victory celebration in 1946 or 47.
There was supposed to have been twelve! But one had wet sumped and another had over tickled his carb
