saddle spring M20

hello all,

I have had a great weekend in Oosterbeek, even the weather was kind of alright!

Saddle springs, I have been checking out other M20's and have seen different springs under the saddle's. I changed the bolts that secure the springs to the frame for original ones and it's like the saddle is now too high up. The sitting position is not very comfortable. I'm now wondering if my springs are the right ones. Maybe somebodey can post a photo showing the right ones? Thanks...

The pine cone type is from later war years as I believe, the heavier cylindrical may be more suitable for heavier ridersPhotobucketPhotobucket

Re: saddle spring M20

Thanks Henri, pics are always the best.

My springs look different, to begin with they are longer. I have to look for proper saddle springs for my M20. As my bike is from 1941 I would need the pine cone type, I suppose.

Anybody got some lying around? I'm based in Holland.

Re: saddle spring M20

Hi Henri,

Can I come over to your house with my camera, measureing tools and autocad on my computer and spend a month?

You have some cool stuff there.
