Direction of mag rotation (viewed from the drive end.)
Left or right hand pickup location (viewed from the drive end.)

Hi Jan, Yes that helps..one last point though...does the Enfield mag body have the (4)location dowels in the base as on a BSA?..and if not what does it have?...thanks...Ian

I need to clarify that one way or t'other..though saying that it is getting increasingly difficult to find 'slack wire' points housings. Nortons have them because the mag runs the other way but many have gone onto Goldies, B33s etc. etc. which all had that end after 1954 ish...and you can't fit what you haven't got

I have also checked my war time pictures and I've only found "my" setup. Plus: the original mag on my 1940 WD/C is also as in my illustration...
