Re: Owls Head Pictures

That headlamp looks 'way too bright to be unmodified. What mods have you made to the electrics?

Re: Owls Head Pictures

Hi John,

The only thing that I've done to the electrical system is to install a Podtronics voltage regulator. I run a BS-0396.6V30/24W dual filament bulb. I wish that I could claim some genius here but I can't. Maybe there's some back reflection from the camera flash or is it the M20 "beaming" with pride?

Best regards,
James

Great photos...there was some interesting machinery there. I am still trying to work out where you sit on the steam powered bike... ...Ian

Re: Owls Head Pictures

You sit on the water tank Ian, The museum was asking for someone skilled in leather crafting to wrap the tank in leather, as it was originaly. They can run on steam, but prefer to demonstrate with compressed air at such events so to not kill anyone! :-)

Re: Owls Head Pictures

Looks like a couple M20's there, and I see a 3rd Canadian Batallion tank emblem on the Norton, I plan on putting the 1st Canadian on my BSA (gold leaf on red) , maybe I'll make it 3 BSA's next year!.
Oh, and that looks a bit like Paul Teutel Sr in the background of Pic 30/34 !
Great shots,
Vincent
