Reminds me of a story in "The Winged Wheel Patch" where a rider crashed into a tank in the dark due to blackout equipment and the tank driver being lost on a training exercise. "With his bike lying on the ground in a million pieces, he jumped up onto the tank and banged on the turret. When the tank commander opened up the top, Billy said, "Anybody hurt in there?"
