I believe the pre war 500s had an 82x94 configuration, the same as the M20/21..looking at the photos the 82mm M21 piston might do the job, although with a slightly lower compression. You just have to check the pin to crown hieght..Ian

Here such a bike from Dutch owner Theo, history know back to when it was new. Theo visits the forum every now and then too. Nice bikes.
