My good friend Indian Tim phoned me from his building site yesterday. He was reading the 'Daily Mail' and announced to me that a ship had been found in the Red Sea with it's payload of bikes and trucks still intact.......Bit behind the times, is our Tim
Ron
Oh, well, if we're going to get personal...The earlier reports of the ship mentioned only BSAs. I expect that they were stacked on top and they've all rusted away by now.
OK, you started it. The only thing left of the Nortons are the infamous field stands. Since they could never be used they didn't suffer from wear and tear.
No seriously that is what stood out for me. I am not good at identifying Nortons anyway. And I do like the vintage look of the Norton.
You're absolutely right Leon. I expect that most areas of standing water in the world have had Norton field stands thrown into them. Leaving the whole bike attached is a bit extreme though.
The 16H does indeed have a vintage look, particularly that Edwardian exhaust line.
