I would be interested in hearing from anyone with photographic evidence of airborne markings on motorcycles during the Normandy campaign. Does anyone have a photo with a bike showing the Pegasus on the tank. Were the C numbers painted in blue? Any information would be very helpful.
Hey John, there's a lovely pic og a G3 inside a Dakota with airborne markings in Steves BFM book. The C number doesn't look white, so who knows.
