Just spotted a new website on welbikes etc.
And with freely downloadable manual, driver's handbook and spares list for the second contract:
http://www.welbike.co.uk
Somehow this new welbike.co.uk website looks like it is taking over Carl Hammer's activities? I tried contacting the owners, but no response sofar.
And yet another manufacturer of repro parts in India.
I contacted the owner, a mr. Rohan Nino Puri on a few issues.
Supposedly he has sold some parts already, but would not give any references to these.
I have a few issues on the repro frame, as it looks like it is incorrect in several aspects. I'll keep you informed on developments on this, as I am still after a set of petroil tanks for my Mk. II welbike.
But with all poor quality parts around, if I have to pay a lot of money, I would like to get a decent quality.
Or alternatively, I might have a set made locally (as we did in the past).
do you think that by opening a web site to a persific model of motor cycle might be a crafty way of selling inferior parts ie all the people on the site saying the parts are good
