Hello all
Mentioned in a post was spray start. Is this ethanol if so we have a product here in Oz called Start You Bastard , I take it has not taken off in the UK or Europe.

Ethanol?? don't you mean ether?? Both can be used to induce a suitable temporary state of euphoria in case the "bastard" doesn't comply.

"Start you bastard" which is sold in Australia in an aerosol can is not available overseas, I sent the outer container flattened out to Chris Williams at Autocycle in the UK who had been told by a friend visiting Australia that it was readily available and on display for all to see. It was a real talking point to them.

they say dont keep using easy start on diesel engine as they get addicted to it this was mainly on the old black taxi if you kept using it in time it would be the only way to start you taxi hot or cold weather

You could use power driven rollers to start it as well, or tow it behind a fast car....but why?..it's like filling your inner tubes with concrete because you have a puncture...If the bike is in good condition and set up properly it will start...without the help of any bastard.. ...Ian
